Dr. Arnel Beaubrun

Naturopathic Doctor

I am a passionate father of three, who experienced firsthand the healing potential of Naturopathic Medicine in my life.  I overcame a severe auto-immune disease in my early twenties with the help of Naturopathy, after frustrating attempts with conventional treatment.

My medical practice has evolved over the years, rooted in my passion for endocrine and digestive health. Out of my focus on hormones was born a very busy fertility practice. It’s awesome to see new families grow, both in numbers and in health! My quest to discover the role of digestion in health led me to study to receive my GAPS certification – this allows me to help those with the most severe auto-immune and learning spectrum disorders, through the healing power of food.

I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). I had the pleasure of co-founding CCNM’s annual Men’s Health Awareness Week and Sports Medicine Specialty Clinic. I now serve as a Board Member for the Institute of Naturopathic Education and Research. I completed an Undergraduate Degree in Microbiology at the U. of Manitoba. I am fluent in French, and welcome French-speaking patients.

Dr. Andrea Beaubrun

Naturopathic Doctor

I am a proud Mama of three littles! I know how difficult it is for families to achieve balance in life, let alone prepare delicious, healthful meals that are necessary for wellness. My passion is helping families learn to eat unrefined, delicious meals, prepared in a traditional manner. The immense benefits of eating REAL food are attainable and accessible to everyone! I am a traditional foods educator and have studied under Monica Corrado. I am a past leader of Calgary’s Weston A. Price local Chapter.

My interest in women’s health inspired me to seek specialized training in Holistic Reproduction. I am one of three NDs in North America to be certified in Justisse Fertility Awareness – a body literacy tool that helps my female patients throughout their entire reproductive lives. Fertility awareness is key to providing innovative, leading edge guidance for patients seeking fertility support. Our clinic has been featured in Avenue Magazine and on Breakfast Television for our work with fertility.

I completed my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Tricia Breckon, ND

I love being active and I’ve always been an athlete in one form or another for as long as I can remember. I discovered Naturopathic Medicine by accident. In my early 20s, while I was studying at the University of Calgary, I was training for both track and field and bobsleigh. A combination of power weight lifting and a crash down the bobsleigh track left me with a back injury and chronic debilitating back pain. The conventional medical system offered me pain killers and bed rest but that wasn’t how I wanted to live the rest of my life. Naturopathic medicine saved my life. Not only did I obtain full recovery from my injuries but I was living pain free. I was hooked. At this point, I decided that I wanted to be able to make that kind of difference in other peoples’ lives!

Armed with my holistic training and research skills from my Master’s degree, I passionately pursued Naturopathic Medicine and I graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine at the top of my class, receiving the prestigious academic excellence award. Though I started my medical education knowing that I wanted to focus on physical medicine and chronic pain management, my interests broadened to include general family medicine, women’s and children’s health, cardiovascular health, autoimmunity, stress management and diet and lifestyle counselling.

My goal is to help my patients achieve optimal health and feel their absolute best. To obtain this goal I combine naturopathic therapies with the most up-to-date scientific research and consider each patient as a unique individual. By moving beyond just treating symptoms and by addressing the underlying causes of issues and illnesses, I’m able to help patients achieve lasting, long term results.
